תקציר:
סדרה חדשה מהיוצר של "פליסיטי", "זהות בדויה"  ו-"אבודים". "Fringe" הינה סדרת דרמה/מתח הסובבת סביב מדען; ד"ר וולטר בישופ (ג'ון נובל), בנו פיטר (ג'ושוע ג'קסון) וסוכנת FBI (אנה טורב) שמאחדת ביניהם, סגנון הסדרה נוטה לכיוון סדרות כמו "תיקים באפלה ו-"אזור הדימדומים". גם כאן, כמו ב"תיקים באפלה" נלחמים שלושת הגיבורים באוסף תופעות על-טבעיות שמאיימות על החברה והסביבה שחלקן נוצרו בעקבות טכנולוגיות שפותחו בעבר ע"י ד"ר בישופ. הבוס של כוח המשימה הוא הסוכן פיליפ ברוילס (לאנס רדיק הזכור לטוב כמפקד של היחידה בסדרה "הסמויה").
